Free time for optional visit to the 12th century Monastery, one of Portuguese World Heritage Sites, with the tombs of Pedro and Inês (a famous and tragic love story of the Middle Ages involving the royal family). Visit of Batalha monastery, another of Portuguese World Heritage Sites, built in the 14th century in Gothic style, commemorating the independence of Portugal after a victory in battle over Castille.
